1. What this site is

Advanced Calculator provides free online calculators for general informational and educational use. The tools run in your browser and produce results from the numbers you enter.

2. No professional advice

Nothing on this site is financial, tax, legal, academic or professional advice. The calculators apply common conventions, and conventions vary: schools weight grade points differently, retailers stack discounts differently, tax rules differ by jurisdiction, and tipping customs differ by country.

Before relying on a figure for anything consequential — a tax filing, an academic transcript, a contract deadline, a purchase — confirm it with the institution or professional who will actually be using the number.

3. Accuracy

We take accuracy seriously: the formulas are published on each page and the underlying calculations are covered by automated tests. Even so, the site is provided “as is” and we make no warranty that it is free of errors, or that any result fits your particular circumstances.

4. Availability

We aim to keep the site online and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Tools may be changed, moved or withdrawn without notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site in any way that breaks the law or infringes someone else’s rights;
• attempt to interfere with, overload or disrupt the site or its hosting;
• scrape or republish the site’s written content wholesale as if it were your own;
• misrepresent a result from this site as verified professional advice.

Using the calculators themselves — including at work, in class or as part of your own workflow — is exactly what they are for, and needs no permission.

6. Intellectual property

The written explanations, page designs and the name Advanced Calculator belong to the site owner. The results the calculators produce from your own numbers are yours to use freely. Third-party components used to build the site remain subject to their own licences.

7. Third-party links and advertising

The site may link to, or display advertising from, third parties. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, products or practices.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Advanced Calculator and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage — including lost profits, missed deadlines, academic consequences or financial losses — arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site or any result it produces.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
